FPF
There's a post from Bruce Marriott on the DanceTab website that they will stop posting new material early in February, although the site will remain up. https://dancetabs.com/2022/01/dancetabs-is-closing/ I've enjoyed many of their reviews and it's sad to lose yet another venue for writing about dance. Drew
It certainly is sad news...Let's hope new sites for dance writing emerge...And big thanks to Dance Tabs and Bruce Marriott for what they have done. Link to comment
dirac
It is sad, and some of his reasons for closing are disheartening, to say the least. I do not see social media filling the gap for traditional longform reviewing. Let's hope it's my eyesight. Many thanks to Mr. Marriott and all his contributors. Link to comment
sandik
This is miserable news -- Dance Tabs has been a great place to read for all these years, and a valuable outlet during a time when the number of places that run long-form reviews have continued to close. I'm very grateful for such a long and good run, and sad that it's coming to a close. Link to comment
Helene
In her email this morning, Marina Harss wrote that after this week, when she'd publish her final work for Dance Tabs, she'd be writing for Fjord Review. Link to comment
sandik
If you haven't been following along, Fjord has some excellent coverage! Link to comment
Peg
Agree about Fjord but I don’t think all the content is free Link to comment

Their "Digital" subscription supposedly consists of "access to premium content, unlimited access to archived content, podcasts, and our weekly newsletter", but I've read lots of things without it. Helene
They make some content public, and the rest (premium, archives) ia available by subscribing. I hadn't paid attention enough to understand this until this thread, and I signed up for a subscription today. Link to comment
