carbro Posted January 6, 2011 Share Posted January 6, 2011 Ted Williams made the rounds of morning shows in New York, all cleaned up and quite handsome, with not one but TWO segments on the Today show, both very moving, and a drop-in at GMA in between (related links on both). He has a two-year contract to announce for the Cleveland Cavaliers and offers from Kraft Macaroni and Cheese, among many, many others. I was struck by his humility and grace, his warmth and gratitude. This is a Cinderella story if ever there was one, and I may be swept along by that, but I don't think Williams will lose his appreciation for the good fortune that landed on him, and I feel and hope that he's going to be okay.
