Drew
Thank you for posting @rg -- the person who predicted D.C. would be seeing Khoreva as Medora called it correctly. If all goes well, then I will be going to D.C. and have a chance to see each of these casts over the weekend. Looking forward to it! Link to comment

Looking forward to it! Did you attend last night, Drew? Here's my thoughts about my first time seeing Mariinsky Ballet live. I went in without any judgement or concrete expectations and left looking forward to seeing them again in the fall for Paquita Link to comment

While the program had her name, Maria Bulanova performed in her place. Link to comment

Clearly, I am not as familiar with Mariinsky's dancers. Link to comment

There’s been a big shift in casting for this tour, so I wouldn’t be surprised if more names are incorrect in the Soloist/smaller roles. Link to comment

At the open rehearsal, many adjustments had to be made to the placement of dancers to allow them to perform all the steps without bumping into each other and several dancers made suggestions/requests as to how the music should be played. Thanks for this insight. Link to comment
