Dale
It's up now, and Bouder and R. Fairchild are back in action. There's even a Taylor sighting in The Cage: http://www.nycballet.com/casting/wk9.html?...er1_TSMenuID=30 Link to comment
kabota
Yay! I'll be glad to learn more about the new Lee ballet. Link to comment
kfw
There's even a Taylor sighting in The Cage Wow, that should be interesting! Am I wrong, or is this unlikely casting? Link to comment
carbro
Taylor has a wiriness that should suit the Novice very well. Unlikely casting, perhaps, but it doesn't strike me as miscasting. I'm intrigued. :-) Link to comment
Natalia
....Bouder ....back in action. Oh yeah!!!! Kitri in St Petersburg may actually happen! Link to comment
bobbi
I too am glad -- and relieved -- Ashley is being cast again. However, I have so been looking forward to her first T&V in New York. My gold standard in T&V is still Gelsey but I was hoping that Ashley would be her equal in that role. I hope Ashley gets cast in T&V before her retirement performance; she's almost nine years out of SAB now. When will we see her in T&V? Link to comment

I would love to see her in T&V and hopefully it will happen this season! If she's 100% healthy then I'm sure it will - there will be plenty of opportunities since they subbed in T&V for the new Miroshnichenko ballet in the New Combinations program and we also get TS3 in the Tradition & Innovation program. I am sure that Bouder will own the role from the minute the curtain goes up on her first T&V at the (choke) Koch Theater, but I'd also like to see Reichlen get a shot at it. Also THRILLED to see Taylor & Somogyi back! Link to comment
Azulynn
I witnessed Ashley Bouder's debut in Theme & Variations in Paris last September, so there's probably no reason she won't dance it in New York... Link to comment
carbro
I, too, am delighted to see Somogyi's name on the cast list, but she's already been back. She danced Chiaroscuro last season, as well as Davidsbundlertanze and Piano Pieces. Link to comment
