I quite liked the song but I only have 5th form German so I'm not too sure of the information about the dancer (Polina Seminova?) I liked it. I was wondering if it's oldish or what....I've never heard of Herbert Gronemeyer... So any info or opinions would be interesting (Also, should I post this here???? ) Link to comment
Dansuer85 Posted March 30, 2005 Share Posted March 30, 2005 It's not very old. Polina is only about 20. She is a Principal dancer with Berlin Opera Ballet(Staatsballett-Berlin). She is quite gorgeous, I have never seen her live, just pictures and this video and heared from friends! She is from the Kirov, I believe. Malkhov snatched her up! heheh Link to comment

I had heard a lot of good things about Polina Semionova, even before she graduated from the Bolshoi (not Kirov), and was very interested to see how she danced. She is indeed a beautiful dancer. For those of you who think that maybe you clicked on the wrong link when the video comes up with a guy singing, wait a few seconds and you will see Polina. She dances to the song -- simply wonderful!
