FYI: I just found out Twyla Tharp published a new book. She writes about the process of choreographing Movin Out in there. (She mentions that if they had called it a ballet they thought no one would come.) She describes the successes and failures along the way. That chapter looked good. I hope it sells well. Its on book shelves in a store near you. DD

That's a unique situation since Mr. B wanted those costumes changed to black. PM simply executed the idea with material already purchased for the occasion.

Last year I chose 2004 Balanchine. This year after careful review of Balanchine 2005 Lois Greenfield Pilobolus the anonymous Ballerina calendar Degas and ABT I wanted ABT but it was sold-out of every store I knew to buy calendars from at half price. I bought Picasso instead: There's at least 2 Harlequin's in there:)
