  13. I couldn't sit through it, myself. You could argue that it was an ideal Academy Award winner for a new era - Marvel Action meets Art House and makes $100 million. But yes, others whose opinion I respect really liked or loved it. And they still managed to go on for over two hours.

  15. Those are all good points, Tom. Things are changing, but slowly. Thank you for reviving this thread. One heartening thing is that animated movies aimed at children now feature girls as the protagonist more frequently and not just as princesses to be rescued, not that I'm knocking "The Sleeping Beauty."
  16. This will be much smaller scale for several reasons but I'll be interested to see it as well.
