carbro
Friday night, Philip Neal replaced Stephen Hanna in Brahms-Schoenberg, and according to the cast list in the lobby, Amar Ramasar will replace Hanna in Saturday's Goldberg. I didn't notice if Concertino was changed and was unable to check any changes for next week. Link to comment

Ramasar is finally getting cast in solo/principal roles a LOT! I have admired him since his '99 SAB Workship as a Percussion in Fanfare. While most of the dancers seemed nervous, as would be expected, he just had beautiful fun. I hope they continue to use him well! -amanda Link to comment
TWindsong1
Double quodos for Amar Ramasar. I've liked him ever since he first hit the boards as a very appealing skinny skinny kid. Can any one come up up with the funny dance he did with two other fellows wearing Asian straw hats?? About Megan Fairchild and Joaquin DeLuz. Small wonder they have so little charming dancing relationship! Wouldn't any one be ho-hum if you were forever paired for size or some other puzzling reason? Really makes poor Megan like a puppet. No spontaneity. Principals yet! Thanks to everyone for all the beautiful notes about Peter Boal. I felt as if I had seen it all, especially the picture of his little daughter, arms uplifted as the curtain fell. My last question is about Janie Taylor. Has anyone knowledge of when she will return? Work takes me to the city. Yippee then Rats." Double Feature" is NOT the Nutcracker. Link to comment
oberon
I think the humourous number you are thinking of in which Amar dances with 2 other boys wearing funny hats is FANFARE, the percussion section. Amar's dead-serious facial expression during this silly dance makes it all the more hilarious. I think all of us are waiting & hoping for Janie Taylor's return to the stage. Link to comment
