https://www.violinist.com/blog/laurie/20205/28271/
[The full release will be this Fall]

"It was filmed over 16 years, from 2003 to 2019, by filmmaker Benedict Mirow. Basically, you see me travel through my 20s and 30s and grow into my current self on camera. The final interview was recorded on the last day I was 39. The documentary is being pre-premiered online for German audiences at DOK.fest Munich through Sunday."

I love Hilary Hahn.  She used to play a lot in Seattle, and she was also one of the first artists to maintain her own website, which was a combination travel-performance diary and photo gallery.  Whenever she had a gig with an orchestra, in which she'd be in a city for at least a week, she would wander with her camera and post lovely photographs to her site.  I used to look forward to her regular updates, because her intelligence and curiosity came through so clearly.
