Buddy Posted April 18, 2019 Share Posted April 18, 2019 Yes, he was there for about two weeks during the Festival season in March according to Catherine Pawlick at her site. I saw him in the front row of the theatre until March 28 and not after. Link to comment
mille-feuille Posted April 18, 2019 Share Posted April 18, 2019 I'd never been a huge fan of Peter Martins, but perhaps he could bring some verve into their dancing of Balanchine's ballets. Just off the top of my head, I found the Mariinsky's interpretations of Rubies, Apollo, and Tschai Pas to be unwatchable. If he can improve their Balanchine style, then more power to him I suppose.
