pherank
I smiled when I saw the listing for Corps de Ballet - just two people: corps de ballet Elizabeth Powell, Myles Thatcher They don't mention Froustey, but do mention Zahorian, but I realize this is a marketing announcement, and subject to change. I hope Masha K. isn't completely worn out from all the dancing she's been doing - that girl needs to take a break (but she doesn't seem to believe in such things). Link to comment

Mathilde K
I am glad to see that Sofiane Sylve is being paired with Luke Ingham. By the end of the SFB Spring Season I felt that Sylve made a better match for Ingham than any other principal in the company. Link to comment
pherank
I am glad to see that Sofiane Sylve is being paired with Luke Ingham. By the end of the SFB Spring Season I felt that Sylve made a better match for Ingham than any other principal in the company. I think you are right, and it has been unfortunate that Sylve never formed a really great partnership with any of the men. I see a lot of dancing for Lizzie Powell in this casting - nice! pherank
I believe the Spoleto Festival is over for SFB, and they are now moving on to Paris, and Les Etés de la Danse... Some last few images that I liked from the various dancer postings: Miles Thatcher photograph of Elizabeth Powell in warm-up for Spoleto FestivalSasha De Sola Reynolds posted this image on Instagram -"We are done with the Spoleto tour! Off to Paris tomorrow!" Link to comment
Balletgoal
It is not true that Sylve never had a good partnership with other men, I remember enjoing the partnership with Villanoba and Helimets, and specially with Vito Mazzeo, now Principal Dancer with the Dutch National Ballet. The two of them were always paired for new ballet created on them, it comes in my mind Borderlands, the Ratmansky piece made for SFB , Number Nine and several other ballet like Continuum, or Suite en Blanc, Chroma, Ghost, and I remember fireworks in a SFB gala in Black Swan.
