rg Posted April 25, 2011 Share Posted April 25, 2011 the attached scan of one of the photos used to illustrate a 2 p. story in the Theater section of PIC magazine, from 1942, shows Balanchine with a dancer and another individual from THE LADY FROM ACROSS - a Broadway production. the caption is very much to the point of the rest of the general entertainment aspect of the magazine.
