chezdancer
Hi I was looking in the usual places for a video or DVD of Balanchine's Stars and Stripes without any luck. I wondered if anyone knew where I could get a video of it. Many thanks. Link to comment
Helene
I don't know of any commercial DVD with the complete Stars and Stripes, but the Pas de Deux and variations are available on the "Balanchine Celebration -- Part Two" DVD. I think they did the finale, too, but my mind may be playing tricks on me. Damien Woetzel and Margaret Tracey were El Capitan and Liberty Bell. Link to comment
Dale
The Jaques d'Amboise dvd from Vai also has the Stars and Stripes pas de deux and finale, with Melissa Hayden. Link to comment
chezdancer
Thanks for your help. After reading your posts, I ordered the Jacques D'Amboise DVD. Amazon is out of the Balanchine Celebration, part 2 and I haven't found it elsewhere yet. Again, thanks. Link to comment
