James Wilkie
Will it be released in the UK? Link to comment
dirac
Boy, I made a bad mistake putting off my purchase of the DVD. I happened to look around for it and it's been discontinued!!!! Copies are priced at $99.00 plus. I'm sorry it's no longer available. Ballet fans without deep pockets who haven't seen it will be dependent on rentals. Fortunately my VHS is still in good shape, although frequently watched over the years. Link to comment
rg
have you at least made any effort to dub your videocassette to a dvd? that would at least 'lock' into place the current state of your cassette? i suppose the cassette might not be dub-able but it would worth a try. Link to comment
dirac
Thank you for the suggestion. I ought to have done so a long time ago but I was a) so technology challenged that I did not have up to date equipment and b) too lazy to go out and buy said equipment. Link to comment
SandyMcKean
I simply rented it from Netflix. No problems. Link to comment
dirac
I simply rented it from Netflix. No problems. Renting is nice, but for me there are rentable movies and ones I'd like to own, and this title is one of the latter. Oh, well. Link to comment
SandyMcKean
I don't know if this is a good source or not, but their website says they have it ($35 I think). I put in a shopping cart and processed it all the way until the last step, but of course I didn't actually buy it. I presume I might get a subsequent email saying "Sorry, it's out of stock", but you could try. http://directcinema.com/dcl/title.php?id=165 Link to comment
Marga
That is the VHS tape, not the DVD. Link to comment
Anthony_NYC
This is one of the few ballet videos that Netflix lets you stream to your computer (or TV, if you're set up for that--I recommend getting a Roku box!). It's still not the same thing as owning the DVD, I know, but at least you can get instant gratification any time you need a Farrell fix. Link to comment
