underdog
Well Oberon, it looks likes you lost your most memorable matchup for Sympony in C. Hopefully this isn't due to an injury. Link to comment
underdog
Wendy and Nilas Speaking of Wendy, here's an uncommon site, no? How often were these two paired up in NYCB? Edited November 23, 2003 by underdog Link to comment

dancer04
Whelan stepping out is due to injury. She was to come and dance in Nutcracker as she has for the past 7 years. She is very close to my teachers and she called last week to notify them that she was in Moscow dancing with Soto and broke something in her foot. She is in a cast for at least 4 weeks. Dale
We will try to confirm Whelan's injury. Until then, let's hold off on any speculation. Thanks Link to comment
Helene
In the 1 December issue of The New Yorker on page 19 in the "DANCE" section, the first entry was for "NEW YORK CITY BALLET" and the listing was for The Nutcracker. Here's a quote: Best bets: the Friday-night [28 Nov] and Sunday matinee [30 Nov] performances at which Maria Kowroski and Charles Askegard are the Sugarplum Fairy and her Cavalier, Jennie Somogyi is Dewdrop, and Robert La Fosse is Drosselmeyer. I don't see this quartet together on the cast list from 1 December through the 14 December performances. Link to comment
Dale
That was the casting for those nights, but Sylve replaced Somogyi and Somgyi went to other nights. I guess the New Yorker did the listings before the cast changes. Link to comment
