  1. The winners have now been posted on the YAGP website: http://yagp.org/eng/NY_winners_2009.php
  2. The Royal Ballet last performed Ashton's Cinderella at the Royal Opera House in the 2004/2005 season. There are rumours that it will be back for the 2009/10 Royal Ballet season which is due to be announced some time this month.
  3. I was at Swan Lake tonight sitting in the stalls and they appeared to be very nearly full. The boxes all the way round however, were all empty. As this is my third Swan Lake in eight days I am exhausted. I really enjoyed the performance so I will tell all (from my point of view) tomorrow. The Dress Circle was barely half full last night.
  4. At the matinée on Thursday the Pas de Trois was danced by Hee Seo, Blaine Hoven and Melanie Hamrick.
  5. Agreed, but it's worth noting what Debra Craine wrote in the London Times on the last occasion that Lauren Cuthbertson and Rupert Pennefather danced these roles (a schools' performance earlier in the month) "Rarely have I seen two dancers take charge of a Swan Lake that resonates with such beauty and dramatic viability. " Here's the link to her five star review: http://entertainment.timesonline.co.uk/tol...icle5833346.ece
  6. "First things first, the company performed “Infra” very well and Eric Underwood stood out giving an exceptional performance and receiving the loudest cheers." This is something we can agree on. The performances were superb and I would add the names of Ed Watson, Lauren Cuthbertson and Ricardo Cervera to the list of outstanding performers. I've now seen the work 3 times (the general rehearsal + the first two performances) and each time have found more to admire. It will be interesting to see how it transfers to the television screen. There will be a programme with rehearsal excerpts and a complete performance of the work next Saturday November 22nd at 7.10pm on UK television station BBC2.
  7. Just a small point - the name of the ballet is 'Infra' rather than 'Intra'.
  8. "OK so I am thinking that it was Delia Mathews (tall brunette) and Dylan Gutierrez (tall, dark haired) that did the Adagio PPD piece and James Hay (british) dark haired that did the Male Solo. I have not seen it but my dk is in the piece so I will see what other names I can find out. " .......and the 'small blonde girl' is Antoinette Brooks-Daw.
