  3. Selections from "Pina" will be shown as part of the "Dancing Movies" program in this year's Chicago Dancing Festival. The program plays on Tuesday, 21 August at noon at the Museum of Contemporary Art: http://chicagodancingfestival.com/Free-Dance-Event/dancing-movies.aspx
  4. Ballet companies appearing in the festival are: Program 2, 29-30 September: ABT (Sinatra Suite) Hong Kong Ballet (Luminous) Program 3: Ballet West (Grand Pas from Paquita) Program 4: Pacific Northwest Ballet (Pas de deux from "Carousel: A Dance") There are never any guarantees, but the most recent casting has been with Sarah Ricard Orza/Jerome Tisserand and Carla Korbes/Seth Orza. Rachel Foster has also danced the female lead, and she missed out on the "After Petipa" presentation for Guggenheim's Works and Process this past May; perhaps she will get her chance.
  5. I just looked at the Fall for Dance lineup, and Ballet West is bringing the Grand Pas from "Paquita" to New York's City Center for the Festival on October 2-3 at 8pm. The Company shares Program 3 with TU Dance, Nan Jombang, and Moiseyev Dance Company. http://www.nycitycen...anceNumber=6650
