re: Sarah's IG post, I read this as hard work should matter more than where the $ is, which to me is more about Misty being cast for ticket sales as opposed to technical and artistic quality (for example, knowing that Misty may well pull out of difficult classical roles at the last minute). The Hope Hicks quote takes it a bit farther, in that what's presented to the public should match the reality behind the scenes. But who knows, maybe this is aimed at Skylar. In 2017, her parents' family foundation gifted ABT $20K and City Center $10K. The previous year, $5K to ABT and $12,500 to NYCC (public 990 tax records on Guidestar.org).

With the height stated, I'd wonder if it's someone who tends to partner taller ladies. Tiit, perhaps?

If I were a Program 2 ticket holder, I would be less than thrilled about this.

Looks like they may not announce the third piece ahead of time, and it could vary from program to program (am I reading this right?). DIRECTOR’S CHOICE For each performance of Program 2, Artistic Director Helgi Tomasson curates an exciting selection of works featuring a variety of artists from the Company. Full program information will be included on the website as it becomes available, and will be in casting inserts for each individual performance.

I imagine Tomasson will try to stick with his original program theme. It's going to have to be something the dancers can dive into without any added stress. So I'm guessing it will be a contemporary work that's been danced in the last 2 years. Good point. I feel like most of what's been danced in the past years has been repeated ad naseum. Crossing my fingers for a surprise or something out of the box!

Maybe they'll bring "Scotch Symphony" back (as they did it at the 2018 Balanchine Festival and last year's Stern Grove Festival).

Mathilde has been posting about being in Hawaii on her public IG stories, which makes me think she's not cast for Cinderella.

According to casting, Sasha De Sola has replaced Sasha Mukhamedov in Diamonds.

I really enjoyed watching when they participated last time. Sad that it seems like a one-off. The no-image-capture-at-work thing seems odd, especially for an arts org continously trying to connect with an ever-growing tech-savvy SF audience.

And from the comments in this post, it seems like the policy is now no photos or videos at work.

What's odd was that wasn't he taken off the roster during the summer? Why the sudden return and farewell?

I believe that she's guested elsewhere as SPF, but I don't think she's ever danced it at SFB.

Kim Olivier posted on her public IG stories (not linkable) that had her with her costume sketched or marked over using a filter. The text said, "FYI: Due to current policy, I can not post personal photos publicly in costume." Mathilde Froustey similarly posted a photo with her grand pas tutu sketched over. Any idea on why SFB would enact this kind of policy?
