What is she up to these days? I was reading reviews of the Kirov on tour and I didnt see her name mentioned at all................

There is a nice video link at the Kennedy Center about the Mariinsky Theatre and she is featured in it. It is interesting, she is featured as both a dancer and as a coach; I assume it must be relatively recent. I will try to get the link up here, at some point tonight or tommorrow.

I found a video clip of the Kirov's Sleeping Beauty on the Kennedy's Center website. However, it does not play. You were probably talking about something else?

Solor, Makhalina dances very rarely nowadays. While the 'main troupe' undertook the big London tour in July, Makhalina performed Zobeide in 'Sheherazade' back home, opposite Farouk Ruzimatov's Golden Slave. Her last appearance, before that, was also as Zobeide w/ Ruzimatov, in May or June.
