Hello!

My name is Kate and I'm so excited about joining this forum. I've been dancing since I was about 6, but unfortunately didn't end up professional so today I am just a really big supporter! I'm lucky enough to live close to London so I get to see my favourite ballerinas from the Royal Ballet perform pretty often. I'm hoping to travel to Paris to see the Paris Opera Ballet perform for the first time later this year. 

In my spare time I run a website (http://www.cast-sheets.com) that aims to create a database of all the casting announcements so it is easier to find out where my favourite dancers are performing. It's a (constant) work in progress since, as you know, casts change often and gets released pretty late, but I started it to help me to plan better to get to see all of my favourite ballerinas around the world (hence the Paris trip later this year ) 

Hoping to follow (and contribute) to some of the interesting discussions on here - particularly interested in increasing my knowledge on some of the well-knows ballets and getting to know of more events happening

Hello @KateLibby and welcome. London is a fabulous place to see great ballet and dance.  I am always happy to read about what is happening there. Your website sounds like quite an undertaking.....
