sandik
As always, the Pillow has put together a rich series. For those not familiar with David Dawson's work yet, I really recommend "A Million Kisses to My Skin," on the Pacific Northwest Ballet program August 6-10. In the vein of Balanchine, it starts with a classical vocabulary and sensibility, and then stretches that up to the breaking point, but not beyond. I don't know if all his work is as musical as this -- perhaps it's just the Bach score -- but he's made a really beautiful ballet. Link to comment
