volcanohunter
I haven't seen it in ages, but when David Bintley's Still Life at the Penguin Café first appeared almost 20 years ago, it was a big hit for the Royal Ballet. Now the 1988 film is being re-issued on DVD by Arthaus Musik. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000Y351ZC/ http://www.arthaus-musik.com/templates/tyC...gue_documentary Link to comment
JMcN
"Still Life" was more recently performed by David Bintley's own Birmingham Royal Ballet and how I wish that could have been recorded and released as a DVD. I especially remember Joseph Cipolla, Chi Cao and Asier Uriagereka as very fine Zebras and Toby Norman-Wright as the Brazilian Nut Monkey. Come to think of it - I wish we could have it back in the rep! Link to comment
Andrew73
Now the 1988 film is being re-issued on DVD by Arthaus Musik. Thanks for that; I've only been a member for 5 minutes, and already it's been well worth it! I note the DVD will be released on 29th January - but they took my advance order. Link to comment
