However, as of this time, no Sleeping Beauty casting has been posted for the performances in Orange County July 17-22. A few interesting things - Two Auroras appear to be cast that were not on the list in New York: Wiles on Saturday afternoon and Reyes on Sunday. Part is not opening the run; rather, Murphy and Stiefel are. Kirkland is traveling with the show! And did Murphy ever end up going on as Lilac in NY? Natalia Posted June 29, 2007 Share Posted June 29, 2007 July 21 should be the ideal casting: * Wiles as Aurora - regal style & purely-classical technique * Part as Lilac - beautiful face & gracious manners (her signature role, IMO) * Hallberg as Desire: the ideal tall, blonde & gorgeous prince!
