Probably, more than anything in NYCB repertory, Robbin's Four Season would the ideal ballet for the ABT dancers and Met audience. Could one imagine H Cornejo as the faun?

So sorry to miss Nina'-Jose Don Q and the Dryad Queen of Part and Wiles. I wish ABT would also list the cast for the dryad queens and cupids in their website..They are as important as the street dancer who is usually listed. Anybody knows who will be dancing these roles for the rest of the performances of Don Q?

Michael's review of the adagio section of Ballet Imperial was as eloquent as the actual performance.the end of the adagio section was just heartbreaking.

It was my first viewing of MM in a major role and i could see now what everybody was writing about her dancing.

I was so glad to have seen this preformance.

Concerning ABT's"Buy it, don't develop it"approach to starmaking,although they went to foreign schools,the following principals(M Gomes,P Herrera, H Cornejo, I Dvorovenco,Max B.(?)started in the corp de ballet. So w/ JKent, a Tuttle,G Murphyand A Mckerrow.If that is not developing thier own, then i don't know what is.

Manuel Legris and Aurelie Dupont of the POB will dance Sonatine on April 27 ,2004(according to M Legris website).They are both exquisite dancers.

I have read in the ABT website that Maria Calegari is staging thier new production of Mozartiana. I always thought that S Farrell "owns" the right to the ballet and is the only stager of the ballet.

I loved M Calegari when she was dancing at the NYCB but did she danced the role??How is her staging and coaching record.?If the ABT production of Mozartiana is to suceed,theABT ballerinas would need proper coaching(IMO)

Thanks Jack. As you probably know, she is a multiple gold medalist in several ballet competitions.I know that doesn't mean anything until one actually performs well in a ballet company.Was she cast in Giselle?

M Meunier will be dancing the 2nd lead in Ballet Imperial in May at the Met.V Part is 2nd cast in Mozartiana and is doing Swan Lake in Chicago.

Let's hope both ladies will remain injury free till then.
