On reviewing the brochure this morning,i was horrified for making a mistake in my report.A Ferri is not in the schedule for Giselle.Julio is dancing Giselle with Xiomara on June 18.Alessandra is scheduled to dance Manon and Juliet.Julio is also doing Petrouchka. Sorry for the mistake.

Marcelo is back in the schedule.

There are no other one-act ballets in the schedule.The casting is also very incomplete.There are very many TBAs in Manon,Giselle,R and J.Hoping one of the younger dancers will have a chance in these roles.How about ZJ Fang or S Lane as Juliet or Giselle?

The other full lenght ballets are Kudelka's Cinderella(w/Murphy,Wiles and Kent on different nights) and Le corsaire.

Pethrouska and Cranko's Jeu De Cartes with Apollo completes the Stravinsky program.

Just received the ABT spring season brochure in the mail.D Vishneva is cast as Manon, giselle, juliet and in Swan lake.

D Hallberg has the lead in Apollo,R and J, Sylvia and Swan lake.Can a promotion be far behind ?

In Gene Schiavone Gallery, there are pictures of ABT dancers rehearsing Apollo including David and Irina(although they are not scheduled at the city center season)

Is the scheduling of the Paquita PDD during the city center season a preparation for a future Paquita?.They have not done it for a while.

Additional casting are posted in the ABT website for the citycenter season including D Halberg in the green table.

In Danny's website(press section), there is an article from a Bermuda newspaper stating that Danny was in Bermuda as"the youngest ABT ballet instructor"teaching in a ballet intensive course w/ other abt dance teacherlast week.

According to theNYT "New season preview", "Manon" is being revived. V Part would be gorgeous as Manon if M Gomes is healthy to partner her.I imagine D Vishneva doing the role(if she comes back next season).

The ABT roster seems to have been updated but no new promotions are noted except for new apprentices, Hee Seo and Nicola Curry.

Fang as Zulma!!!!I'm so sorry to miss that.Happy to hear that E Cornejo is back and dancing very well. Who was her partner?I can't wait to see her again in Rodeo.

The "trouble" with Maria is that she is so good(probably, the best) in dancing the character roles in the divertissement.I'm afraid she will get typecast in these roles(not that there is anything wrong in these roles).

IMO,she was the best among the 3 casts( in Le Corsaire) of the Odalisques. Maybe, this will be her breakthrough role. I hope.

I just noted that T Zolymosi's name is gone from the cast of Le Corsaire and Swan Lake. Anybody knows why?

I think it's great that people are seeing the ballets multiple times and giving us a first-hand comparison.    I wish I could be in your shoes!

I was at last Monday's Fokine program. I was pleasantly surpised to see a big crowd considering it was a Monday night and not a full lenght ballet. Maybe, this proves that w/ good programing and casting, triple bills can bring people to the Met.

I especially enjoyed Les Sylphides which was beautifully danced by S Abrera(replacing G murphy), Y Kajiya and especially by ZJ Fang. She was just breathtaking during the Prelude.I agree w/ Carbro and Zerbinetta, who were able to describe her dancing better than me,that she will be someone to watch for the next few seasons. Maybe, there will be a Giselle or La Sylphide in her future.

Monique did the Friday night and was listed in the Sat matinee and would have done the Sat night if V Part did not dance.
