Welcome to BalletTalk, Barbara.

I hope one of our readers can help you find Ms. Fay.  Meanwhile, if you have not already done so, you could join our companion board, BalletTalk for Dancers (you'll have to register separately).  BalletTalk (not "for Dancers") is oriented toward the audience; the dancers' board has more dancers and teachers.

Maria Fay used to write regularly for the Dancing Times, who may be able to point you in the right direction.  Her book and dvd on floor barre technique still seem to be available.

Look here for the New York Public Library catalog holdings on her -- they list many of her Dancing Times articles as well as her teaching materials.
