walboi
New DVD with Northern ballet theater: A christmas carol With singing ballet dancers! Has anybody seen this performance? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No I did not but would like to though, think this would be a real treat after all those films without dance. Have you any particulairs about this performance. What amazing that it has gone by without me noticing it. Shame on myself! Docter send me a message. Walboi Link to comment
Dr. Coppelius
Oh, how I love this DVD! I am going to watch this every christmas instead of Nutcracker. It contains a lot of great dancing and many wonderful christmas carols, especially was Tiny Tim´s singing very moving and made me cry and cry There was also a great Pas de Deux with Scrooge and his his fiancée. Lez Brotherston (Matthew Bourne´s Swan Lake) have done the spectacular costumes and stage design, and Carl Davis the music. One of my best DVD buys last year. Link to comment

I allready ordered it, found the dvd in one of my booklet with new releases in it. You'd made me envious, wished I had it with Christmas, but no matter next Christmas I have. Looking forward to this Pas d Deux with scrooge. O what fun! Thanks for this posting. Walboi Link to comment
