kellie
I'm looking for the orchestral music for "The Sylph and the Scotsman, a pas de deux that is included in some versions of The Graduation Ball. I would have thought it was an interpolation from La Sylphide, but it does not seem to be there. Does anyone know the history of this pas de deux? Link to comment

Weren't most of Lichine's Graduation Ball's tunes based on those by Johann Strauss, Jr., arranged by the B-R conductor, Dorati? The "Sylph and Scotsman" pdd used J.S. Jr's Feen-marchen Walzer (Fairy Tales Waltz). Link to comment
