Quote Golden ballet artists Thu Hang and Duc Hieu will continue to play the soloist role of the stage when playing Giselle and prince Albrecht. Quote What started as a two-week tour became what Ivan Kozlov, who founded the troupe a decade ago, calls “the infinity tour”. Stranded in Paris, uncertain when — or if — they could go back to Ukraine, the exiled dancers began an 18-month odyssey of life on the road. Their performances, “spreading a message of peace, hope and resilience”, have taken them around Europe and America. Quote Queensland Ballet’s Resident Choreographer Natalie Weir has long wanted to choreograph a response to the Four Last Songs by Richard Strauss. Her Four Last Songs, fittingly the last work on the programme, is an ecstatic, transfiguring response to this heart-wrenchingly beautiful music.
