dirac
An interview with Maria Kowroski. Quote Frank DiLella goes behind the scenes with NYC Ballet principal dancer Maria Kowroski as she performs for the final time with the company after 25 years, an emotional performance delayed more than a year and a half because of the COVID shutdown. dirac
A review of the Royal Ballet by Vikki Jane Vile for Broadway World. Quote Physically, there is great variance in how they dance the choreography and there is a lack of romantic chemistry but a great deal of trust and well-timed moments to showcase Clarke's attentive partnering. He is another fine technician in the Royal's ranks (the entrechats in Act II are breathtaking), but Osipova dazzles to such an extent, we occasionally lose his safe and competent portrayal in face of the depth and nuance in his partner's. dirac
A review of Birmingham Royal Ballet by Jenny Gilbert for The Arts Desk. Quote And what better way for an artistic director to raise standards than to appear on stage with the company. Chacona, the biggest and best piece on this programme, had its UK premiere in Birmingham back in June, but for Sadler’s Wells has gained a new opening section created by the choreographer, Goyo Montero, specifically to honour the combined performing artistry of Carlos Acosta and guest artist Alessandra Ferri. To call this a headline event would be to undersell it. Link to comment
