Quote The announcement was made after the “Romeo and Juliet” ballet performance began Thursday at the Bastille Opera in France. Park played Juliet alongside Paul Marque, who was designated star dancer in December. Related. The Times Quote Birmingham Royal Ballet’s programming choices during the pandemic’s various stages demonstrated how alert and adaptable the company could be in uncertain times. Now, as restrictions ease, BRB is presenting its first live performances in 2021 at the Birmingham Rep. A revival of erstwhile artistic director David Bintley’s Cinderella opens on June 18 but first comes this triple bill overseen by Bintley’s successor, the dance superstar Carlos Acosta.
