Natalia
This just posted on KAB's Facebook: https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1103237619700765&id=123720817652455 Congratulations to Emerson Moose of Santa Cruz, California, for becoming America's latest addition to the Royal Danish Ballet! At least one other KAB alum is at RDB: J'aime Crandall, principal. Link to comment
kfw
Wow, congratulations to Mr. Moose. Here he is in Afternoon of a Faun at Washington's National Gallery in 2013. Link to comment
Natalia
Thanks...and here he is dancing James in Sylphide three years ago @ KAB. Little did he know then that he'd be going to the land of Bournonville! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=2oC5W1sCPPs Link to comment
Syrene Hvid
Wow, what an amazingly expressive dancer! I was really impressed with his mime in the La Sylphide excerpts I found. Seems like he could definitely find a home at the RDB. Not to derail from Mr. Moose, but I really loved the girl dancing Sylph with him and looked her up. Dutch National Ballet sure know how to pick them, huh? Deprince first and such a bright talent as Sakamoto next. Some day I need to buy a plane ticket and see one of their productions, it seems.
