Helene
This is very sad news. She's had a much tougher job than Cross and Allen, with the Sirius broadcasts: not only did she tape the intros to each act for the Met archives on Sirius, she had to fill every intermission, either with insightful prerecorded interviews or on-the-spot conversation with co-hosts for some very long intermissions during the Live on Sirius broadcasts 3-4 times a week. There were few set pieces aside from the interviews, like the Opera Quiz or roundtables. I loved listening to her voice. It will be bittersweet to hear her archive broadcast intros and interviews. RIP Ms. Juntwait. Link to comment
