It gives a little personal background about the arts writers at the Voice, and helps one understand something about those days in the 60s and early 70s when New York seemed to be the creative center of the world for many of us ... when you could enjoy dance, opera, theater, galleries, and world cuisine, and learn about them all, without having to spend a fortune.
