Helene Posted January 24, 2005 Share Posted January 24, 2005 James Depriest, former music director of the Oregon Symphony Orchestra, which plays for OBT's Nutcracker, and now laureate conductor, has been named permanent conductor of the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra.
