danciegirlmaria
Anyone who wants to discuss bournonvile; technique, style, dancers, ballets, etc....... Link to comment
Alexandra
You might do a search for Bournonville, Maria. We've had many discussions about his ballets on this board (And it's fine to start a new one too, of course. The search button is at the top right of the board.) Link to comment
grace
danciegirlmaria (i had trouble spelling that one!): alexandra is rather a recognised international authority on bournonville and/or the royal danish ballet, so she is a wealth of information in that area. she has just recently published a book on a related subject. i did a little bournonville training when i was young, and i particularly enjoyed it - as i was quite good at petit allegro, and i liked having to apply my brain to combinations! but that was long ago! i hope you know how to do a search here, as i see you are quite new. there is a great deal of bournonville material which you may find of interest, in the old threads/archives. danciegirlmaria
I thought to start this thread, to help with the dissertation i'm hoping to write on Bournonville......i haven't quite narrowed it down any further as to which aspect of bournonville i will focus. Maybe something will arise here..............? Link to comment
