  17. Historian Dr. Melissa Klapper has published an episode of her podcast, Pirouettes of the Past, for the Balancing Pointe Podcast on the topic of boys and ballet historically: http://balancing-pointe.com/205-pirouettes-past-chapter-five-boys-ballet-america-part-one/
  18. Dr. Melissa Klapper gives short biographical overviews of five great Native American Ballerinas -- Rosella Hightower, Maria Tallchief, Marjorie Tallchief, Yvonne Chouteau, and Moscelyne Larkin -- for her series, Pirouettes from the Past, for the Balanchine Pointe Podcast: http://balancing-pointe.com/pirouettes-past-native-american-ballerinas/
  19. I'm not sure which one you mean -- if you mean the home page, that's what you should see when you go to http://www.balletalert.invisionzone.com. The default is the Forums page. It's now showing without the upcoming events column to the right. The functionality that allowed that changed, and I need to poke around to see if there's a way to restore it.
  20. In June Dr. Melissa Klapper published an episode of her podcast "Pirouettes from the Past" for the Balancing Pointe about the history of ballet on TV in America: http://balancing-pointe.com/193-pirouettes-past-dr-melissa-klapper-chapter-three/ It's a fascinating history that begins in 1931.
