I watched it as well, and enjoyed it. Skylar seemed like two different people. Aran debuted Siegfried at The Met in 2019.

Can anyone a little more savvy make some predictions for me?
Pending life being sort of back to normal....
If the Opera ends it’s season on the 5th, how long would it take for ABT to get in and start it’s season?
If they split between the Met and the Koch, they would likely keep the full lengths at the Met...yes??
(I do some wedding photography and usually avoid June for my Spring Season trip....but have two brides rescheduling from COVID. Want to be supportive, but am also dying to get back to the ballet!!!!)
Thanks for any insights!!
Prior to the lengthening of the Met Season, ABT started right away after the opera season ended. The crew starts loading everything in as soon as they can. I’m assuming that that she probably not going to change, so the ballet’s going to start Monday the 7.

When you click on the "more" button beneath the first two lines of headshots, it displays Ahn and Forster. It's certainly possible one or both of them is cast as Rothbart, but I do hope Forster gets a Siegfried!
Personally, I'm hoping both get cast as Siegfried. It makes sense to me, that all 5 male dancers listed are dancing Siegfried.

Unsurprisingly, no fouettés from Misty tonight. David was spectacular.

I'm looking forward to seeing Lane/Cornejo on Friday. I'm familiar with the Massenet and Puccini operas, so it should be interesting to see how the story translates into dance.

Gonzalez has an Instagram story (public facing) showing him in costume and ballet slippers for Jane Eyre last night. Maybe it's a part that has very little dancing (and/or little or no partnering)? If anyone was there and and can comment, (and on the ballet itself, in the Jane Eyre thread...). At least he's not dealing with something serious, it seems.
He said he hurt his shoulder. He's still dancing, just not partnering.
