Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself, but based on the Gremin casting, and his recent DC Rothbart, I'm hoping Joey Markey gets cast as Benno,  Benvolio, or Paris this year.

Crime and Punishment has come up on an ABT thread before.

I can only say that Helen Pickett produced a one-act version of Emma Bovary for the National Ballet of Canada in November, and I thought it was a mess. My only other exposure to Pickett's choreography was her Petal, which I liked a lot.

I thought I’d seen something about Crime and Punishment.

Becomings (Orlando) (what incredible lighting designs; I don't think you can appreciate these properly in the filmed production)

(using the filmed 2017 Royal Ballet production as a guide--I think the original cast)

the Osipova role - Cate Hurlin

the McCrae role - Jake Roxander (like 97% sure though I wasn't absolutely clear at the start)

    the Lamb role - Shevchenko

the Underwood role - Thomas Forster

the Hayward role - Cassandra Trenary

the Watson role - Daniel Carmago

Other dancers: Sierra Armstrong, Jarod Curley, Carlos Gonzalez, Joseph Markey, SunMi Park, Jose Sebastian

Roxander said he was doing the McRae role on the Sergerstrom Instagram stories

I looked at the casts and saw Alessandra Ferri in Woolf Works but not Misty Copeland in any role. Carlos Gonzalez is dancing the lead in Like Water for Chocolate, but no lead roles for Jake Roxander or Jarod Curley. Maybe next season! I'm excited about the Chloe Misseldine/Aran Bell Swan Lake.

I’m sure we’ll get Roxander as Benno and Mercutio at the very least. Lensky casting still has to be posted. As for Curley, he’s bound to do Ballroom Rothbart, and hopefully John Brown again in Water for Chocolate. I’m crossing my fingers for Curley to be cast as Tybalt. For those who have seen Onegin before, how big a role is Gremin?

This is excellent news. I recently saw on Instagram that Irina and Max are rehearsing Corps. de Ballet member Luigi Crispino as Purple Von Rothbart.

I wonder if he’s a cover, or if he’s actually performing. I’ve been hoping for a while that he’d get cast as purple Rothbart

I went for standing room last night. $44, so the price is right, even if it's a mile from the stage. Emma Von Enck was absolutely lovely, radiant and authoritative. Roman Mejia looked fabulous also, technically brilliant of course and I loved his restrained but proud nobility. Tiler Peck was spectacular. Also Miriam Miller went for all-out sultriness as Coffee, using those long long limbs to mesmerizing effect. KJ Takahashi was excellent as the Soldier. I notice they have altered the part where he mock-shoots towards the kids and they all laughingly tumble over -- instead, he shoots up into the air. Agree the violin solo was screechy. In addition, they use that time for late seating. There was a LOT of people coming in late, it was very very distracting. I usually really love that plaintive, wintery solo -- the effect was completely lost last night.

Are standing room tickets available before a performance or the day of?

Is Blaine doing all of the Bottom's.  Please, get a guy who can do the pointe work, or don't do the ballet.  This is embarrassing.  m

Melvin Lawovi recently posted on his Instagram story that he’s dancing Bottom at the next two performances.
