i cant get to the page showing the seating.
im having severe computer rage!!!!
The Met Opera runs the site, and ABT has to go along with whatever the Met decides to do. The administrators of the opera couldn't care less if ABT ticket buyers get frustrated. Their only concern is that the system works for Met Opera ticket buyers by August.

the 1921 costume for Aurora is much much prettier than the 2015. those were the only costumes that didnt read as splendid.

This was the most depressing ballet doc I have ever seen. I remember long lectures in grad school in the 70's: " Time and the phenomonology of space in Disney's ouevre concerning mice..."

the skirts (ahem) are called "modesty panels."

Changing the tone of this conversation .....I've been watching videos of Precious Adams--has anyone seen her? What a beautiful dancer--I can see her in a few years becoming an extraordinary Odette/Odile. She has a glorious upper body and she has that quality of transfixing her audience into a timeless hush--which all great ballarinas have.

I tried to find the list of company members, staff, and staff for the school on the web site. Found nothing except for bio of Lordes Lopez.
Is that info there?

She was wonderful.

Christopher Grant was the lead cowboy in Western Symphony. Such an exciting young dancer. Where is he now?

I bought a TDF ticket for the Giselle matinee-- it was dead center row A in the dress circle. Happiness...

Lebedev is my new idol. He was a sweet boyish Basil but Basil nevertheless. Beautiful dancer.

extraordinary Giselle this afternoon. Victor Lebedev is an extraordinary dancer/actor and his Giselle, Anastasia Soboleva, was wonderful too. So moving.

does anyone know where Yulia Stepanova is dancing now? or why she left the Marinsky?

I came away so puzzled that this ballet is so honored. The choreography showed off the strength of the men and the suppleness of the women--Maria Allash was powerful. Would love to see her in something else. But the music? the pasties over the leotards? and the dance I remember as the "pony"!

Also known as 'terms of venery.' I had a wonderful book called "An Exaltation of Larks!" Wish I could find it. "A Koch of one-percenters." ......anyone?

Are there any future screenings of Manon in the NYC area? Anyone know?

Nadezhda Pavlova was coaching La Sylphide in yesterday's Bolshoi segment. She is one of my favorite dancers EVER! Her Kitri, and so many other parts she danced were ( and now on youtube) glorious. I'm so glad she is coaching.
I still can't watch the SFB segment because of the announcer. But I will not let Fox tv keep me away:
I still go to the Koch (alas).
