I live in AZ USA, and I was wondering if the Kirov or even the bolshoi was touring anytime soon. I wanted to know if they were gonna be at least one state away from me anytime soon or in the future......wher do I find out there touring schedule?

I was told that the Kirov will visit Mexico City next summer with Manon and Romeo & Juliet. And Los Angeles, USA is also in their tour plan.

The Kirov will be performing in Detroit at the M.O.T.

this Fall 2003,the tentative ballets that planned are

Balanchine's Jewels, Bayaderka, and two of M. Fokine ballets.

According to my sources close to the Kirov's U.S. Fall tour, the company also will, in addition to Detroit, visit LA's Kodak Theater (La Bayadere), Washington D.C., Orange County (Jewels, Fokine program) and tentitively Boston.   Definitely not New York.
