New book out in hard cover, the author followed PNB for a year (in 2008?) and his book covering the inner workings of the company is being published this week.

I am going to order from Amazon tomorrow and will post a review after I've read it.

You can read the prologue, first 4 chapters, and 2 later chapters here:

The author, Stephen Manes, is well known among adults for his columns on technology in "Forbes" and "PC World" and his book "Gates: How Microsoft's Mogul Reinvented an Industry—and Made Himself the Richest Man in America", and among children for his many books, including "Be a Perfect Person in Just Three Days!"

I'm very much looking forward to reading this.
