volcanohunter Posted September 22, 2014 Share Posted September 22, 2014 A performance of Rudolf Nureyev's The Nutcracker by the Vienna State Ballet, featuring Ludmila Konovalova as Clara and Vladimir Shishov as Drosselmeyer/Prince, will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on September 30. This performance was broadcast on Austrian television and streamed online in 2012. The POB telecast from 2007 with Myriam Ould-Braham and Jérémie Bélingard is still sitting in the vaults of French television, so the Vienna State Ballet has beaten them to the video market.
