rg Posted March 12, 2009 Share Posted March 12, 2009 the attached scan comes from Yuri Slonimsky's BALLET MASTERS, and intends to show Cesar Pugni and Jules Perrot at work in a rehearsal in St. Petersburg with imperial ballet dancers. Pugni is meant to be the seated figure on the left. Perrot the prone figure with the stick. (said to be from an image in the Theater Museum's holdings, if i get the gist of the caption.)
