Renata Shakirova has just been promoted to first soloist, per the Mariinsky website, well-deserved imo. Given these recent promotions, are promotions to principal rank for certain dancers on the horizon? (pretty please)

Hey everybody! I’ve actually been lurking around here for quite a while but haven’t gotten around to actually creating an account until now. 😂 As I live in Singapore, I thought it would be nice if I could also give updates on the dance/ballet scene around this region which is pretty neglected on this forum! I also really love the Royal Ballet, and have been aggressively following both the Bolshoi and the Mariinsky. That’s all for now, and I’m really happy to be here!
