Jeff-sh, I just looked at my notice for the China tour and it looks like NYCB will only perform in Hong Kong. But the patron donors, of which I am one, are being offered the opportunity to extend our tour trip with the Company to visit Shanghai and Beijing. There apparently are no mentions of NYCB performances on mainland China. Sorry for the confusion.

This is a great and very useful site. I just moved to NYC and became a patron donor of the New York City Ballet and a subscriber to ABT. Really enjoyed NYCB's fall season and attended seven performances. Ballet Talk is the perfect companion to my ballet activities in NYC. Look forward to sharing my experiences.

Kathy Brown told me at the NYCI Tenth Anniversary brunch on Saturday that the China tour in March 2011 will include Shanghai and Beijing.
