hey im tyron im new,  i really like ballet  but unfortunitly couldn't really take it through out  my younger years  due to certain factors, i have also quite an intrest in photography and love ballet photogrophy as its never a dull thing theres always something really awesome going on,

Glad to have you wish us, tyron.   I hope you'll explore the site and that you will report to us on the ballet that you see.  Welcome to Ballet Talk.  As you say, ballet at its best is truly awesome.   :D

any body know of basic exersizez i could do? i am not to sure were to  start

Tyron, as bart said, we're happy to have you here.  This is a discussion board for the audience, and your question is beyond our scope.  For advice on finding a studio, you should register and ask at our sister site, BalletTalk for Dancers.  You will have to register separately there, but their member base will give you better advice.

Our members would love to hear what you're seeing and will be happy to share thoughts about relevant books, videos, etc.

Welcome, tyron, sorry we took so long to get to your post, happens sometimes.  There are others here from South Africa.  If you have anything on ballet in South Africa, we'd like to hear it, and there's also a Modern and Other Dance, where I'd personally like to hear about some of the dance you may have seen in your home country.

i am starting contempry ballet very soon so will give an update on that.but the dance here is very good in my own opinian  if you have a pretiatin for it you will do well
