Thank you for posting this Sandik.  I have little knowledge of flamenco or Gades, but do remember seeing him in Blood Wedding with the Ballet Nacional de Cuba.  We--that is, the huddle of ballet fans I knew who went to see the company repeatedly--were absolutely blown away both by the work itself and by Gades' performance.

Gades was an amazing man and dancer. I have all of Saura's videos with him and some bootleg copies of Gades company. The man was hugely influential...for me and many others.
