Fraildove Posted May 6, 2004 Share Posted May 6, 2004 I know that there was a discussion on this some time ago, and i am still not aware of any commercially released video, but does anyone have a copy of Balanchine's Serenade? I would very much like a copy. Also, I recieved a video of a ballet from a fellow balletalerter, but it will not play clearly in my recorder. I am in the US and this person is in England. Any idea how to convert this tape into one playable in the US? Or is it my player? Thanks for the input! Rachel Link to comment
vrsfanatic Posted May 6, 2004 Share Posted May 6, 2004 The system in England, I believe is PAL and we have NTSC in the US. You can take it to a recording/video store and pay to have it converted. Look under video stores in the yellow pages. The price varies from state to state, region to region and even town to town. My suggestion is to shop around a bit. If you do conversions often enough, sometimes it is best to just buy a multi-system VCR, which is expensive to start, but pays for itself in the long run. Link to comment
