volcanohunter Posted May 16 Share Posted May 16 The Vienna State Ballet will livestream its annual Nureyev Gala on Saturday, June 29, at 18:30 CEST (12:30 pm Eastern). Typically, these streams are available on demand for 72 hours. The program will include Victor Gsovsky's Grand Pas Classique, the pas de trois from Bournonville's La ventana, the first-act waltz and pas de cinq and second-act pas de deux from Nureyev's production of Swan Lake, Martin Schläpfer’s Ramifications and Wiener Blut, Hans van Manen’s Four Schumann Pieces, the "black" pas de deux from John Neumeier's The Lady of the Camellias, the fandango and grand pas de deux from Nureyev's production of Don Quixote, the pas de deux from William Forsythe's In the Middle, Somewhat Elevated and an excerpt from Harald Lander's Etudes.
